Agline Field Day Marquee with logo

Case Study 14: Agline

Field Days Marquee

Client: Agline

An Agline Case Study

From a design perspective, Agline needed something big and bold to make a statement and reinforce their brand at agricultural field days and exhibitions. From a practical perspective, their marquee needed to be large and high quality so it would last many years of outdoor shows.

Agline is a Tasmanian irrigation company. As a growing company that services the agricultural industry, their presence at rural shows is an important way to connect with new and existing clients. Agline wanted to debut their new marquee at AGFEST in May. Named one of Australia’s top three agricultural field days, AGFEST welcomed 40,000 patrons in 2021.

In the words of the Agline team at AGFEST, “The marquee made a statement on our site, making the site visible from across the showgrounds, encouraging visitors to come and have a look.” The sleek and unique, black marquee stood out among the sea of white tents. The new, polished look increased prospective clients’ trust, resulting in more meaningful engagement with attendees and better qualified leads to take away from the event.

Allegion Case Study

Produce a high-interest prize for architects and designers to win at Equinox events throughout 2019 at the Allegion stand.

The client wanted a drink-related item that could be used in conjunction with tea tins that we had supplied them. Allegion have run a ‘spin to win’ activity at their stand at Equinox events running across Australia in 2019 to engage with architects and designers and the tea infuser bottles were given away as the major prize. Their sleek styling, engraved bamboo lid and gift tube were the easy choice for a prize aimed at architects and designers.

The tea infuser bottles have been a major success at all Equinox 2019 events. Many of the winners of the tea infuser bottles commented that the prize was fantastic, and some winners said they really wanted a tea infuser just like the ones we were giving away as the major prizes.

CASE STUDY 11: Rockwell Automation

Acacia Cheeseboard

Client: Rockwell Automation

The client wanted a valued gift that connected with their food and beverage industry customers. They would be gifted at the biannual AUSPACK event. The product had to be something that would get a lot of use, that wasn’t a desk or business-related item.

Rockwell Automation attend a number of tradeshows throughout the year. This year they wanted to make their customers feel special with a gift that they could enjoy with their family and friends. Our consultant took their brief and budget and came back with the Acacia Cheese Board engraved with the Rockwell Automation logo.

The cheeseboards were so popular at the AUSPACK event that Rockwell ordered again for their biggest event of the year. The results at the TechEd expo were just the same. In their words ‘every single customer loved it and thought it was a really nice and useful gift.’ Rockwell have ordered the Acacia Cheese Boards three times in 2019 – it’s safe to say their clients cannot get enough of their custom branded corporate gifts.

Honda Australia Generator Case Study

Create a custom power bank in the shape of the all-new EU22i Honda generator. They were to be presented as gifts to Dealer Principals who attended the Power Equipment National Dealer Conference and if successful, added to Honda merchandise range.

QTY: 6000

Marketing a new product is always difficult. Honda were looking for ways to market their all-new EU22i in a cool way. That’s when they came to Impact to design a miniature version of the generator.

We designed a concept visual of the power bank for Honda signoff and went to work on preproduction samples. After the sample signoff, we went to mass production and delivered in a timely manner. The Directors and Dealer Principals were so impressed with the outcome, the power banks were added to the merchandise range and rolled out nationally! Great win for both Honda and Impact!

Vestmas Vest

Client: Peters Ice Cream

Peters Ice Cream Case study

Create an Aussie version of the ‘Ugly Sweater’ for a Facebook promotion at Christmas.

Celebrating Christmas the traditional way in Australia is always going to be difficult with the burning heat. That’s why Peters came to us for an Aussie take on the rest of the world’s ‘Ugly Sweater’.

We explored a variety of options and decided the ‘coolest’ way to get the effect of the knitted look was to do a sublimation on the AFL style Guernsey. The end result was incredible and the whole Peters team and Maxibon enthusiasts totally agreed! After delivery, the vests were an instant hit in the Peters offices and when fans saw them on Facebook they were going wild trying to win one of their own. All-in-all the promotion was highly successful for Peters in engaging customers. So much so that they brought them back in a different way for Christmas 2019!

CASE STUDY 09: Burson Automotive

and Drink Bottle

Client: Burson Automotive

Case Study on Burson Automotive

Locally source 1L pump bottles of high SPF sunscreen and drink bottles in time for summer. All branded with the Burson logo.

Burson Automotive views the safety of their people as a top priority even when it comes to small details like sun protection. Their order was a part of a company-wide health and safety sun smart initiative. It required the Impact team to find Australian-made products and supply them to every Burson store lunchroom in Australia. Local products were necessary so that they met Australian standards and got to each location in a timely manner.

The sunscreen and drink bottles proved to be a great help during the summer months. Staff had the necessary sun protection they needed while going about their work and were able to represent Burson while using their branded drink bottles. With custom sunscreen bottles, Burson branding was consistent in store, from front to back.

CASE STUDY 01: Chemist Warehouse

Video Sleeve
for Delta Goodrem

Client: Chemist Warehouse

Create a great keepsake that will help drive Christmas sales and build brand loyalty for Delta Goodrem Fragrances.

QTY: 5,000

The retail fragrance sector is very heavily branded utilising high quality imagery and point of sale material in a very crowded space. Our client needed to build sales in a competitive market as well as retain perceived value in the product. Coming to Christmas-time we needed to appeal to Delta fans, as well as friends and family purchasing for loved ones in the ultimate giving season.

We produced a unique and beautiful embossed and gold foiled sleeve incorporating a video of Delta singing ‘We wish you a merry Christmas’ that slides over the fragrance gift box. Featured on the back page of the Chemist Warehouse national catalogue and with great displays in store nationally, the ‘Delta Video Sleeve’ was a great success. Leading the way in this space, other celebrities have now requested this technology to promote their brands.

CASE STUDY 07: Deliveroo

Delivery Bags

Client: Deliveroo

Provide an end to end solution for the ‘delivery to consumer’ needs of a fast-growing organisation for their online food ordering platform. The solution must strongly brand the organisation and be fit for purpose and sustainable.

QTY: 500,000

Deliveroo were having issues with their food delivery bags, as it was just a paper bag that could tear, get soiled, or be damaged due to damp, condensation from the food and drink they were transporting. This resulted in a poor delivery experience to consumers, who were less than satisfied to receive their often-high-end restaurant quality meals in this form.

Along with this, due to the increase in restaurants joining Deliveroo’s service, there was a logistical nightmare created with the distribution of the delivery bags to the volume of restaurants.

This was no ordinary task. Team Impact considered the challenges and presented them with a totally different idea, that wasn’t just ANOTHER paper bag!

We used our creative thinking and presented a waterproof, reusable, recyclable and cost-effective carry bag! It had exceptional durability, 25kg weight capacity, along with a much higher quality print, which would allow for greater brand exposure. A massive win for the client, who loved the concept.

But we didn’t stop there. We created an online inventory control portal that allowed Deliveroo restaurants to log on and order cartons of the bags to be delivered directly to their doors, eliminating all the time and effort that Deliveroo staff had previously spent.

Now over 1.5 million bags have been produced and counting, delivering to over 2,000 restaurants and food outlets in every corner of the country.

CASE STUDY 06: McWilliam’s

Bottle Cork Stool
for Henkell’s Event

Client: McWilliam’s

Our client was seeking something to use at a specific event that looks high end but within a tight budget. The item could be cushions or decorations.

QTY: 30

Our client only wanted a small amount of product and had a budget of $200 per unit to spend on unique decoration for their Henkell Trocken Sparkling Wine event. Obviously we needed to study the brand, the bottle and the bubbly (of course) to truly understand it. It was while we were playing with the cork that we came up with the idea of a bottle cork stool. We wanted the brand to look authentic and have cut through at the event. We presented the client with some options and the idea of the logo being ‘branded’ onto the cork, they loved them, chose one style and we were away.

The stools looked sensational in the space and the client was extremely happy.
Bonus: The guests wanted to know where they could purchase the stools!
