CASE STUDY 13: Allegion

Produce a high-interest prize for architects and designers to win at Equinox events throughout 2019 at the Allegion stand.


The client wanted a drink-related item that could be used in conjunction with tea tins that we had supplied them. Allegion have run a ‘spin to win’ activity at their stand at Equinox events running across Australia in 2019 to engage with architects and designers and the tea infuser bottles were given away as the major prize. Their sleek styling, engraved bamboo lid and gift tube were the easy choice for a prize aimed at architects and designers.


The tea infuser bottles have been a major success at all Equinox 2019 events. Many of the winners of the tea infuser bottles commented that the prize was fantastic, and some winners said they really wanted a tea infuser just like the ones we were giving away as the major prizes.

CASE STUDY 11: Rockwell Automation

The client wanted a valued gift that connected with their food and beverage industry customers. They would be gifted at the biannual AUSPACK event. The product had to be something that would get a lot of use, that wasn’t a desk or business-related item.


Rockwell Automation attend a number of tradeshows throughout the year. This year they wanted to make their customers feel special with a gift that they could enjoy with their family and friends. Our consultant took their brief and budget and came back with the Acacia Cheese Board engraved with the Rockwell Automation logo.


The cheeseboards were so popular at the AUSPACK event that Rockwell ordered again for their biggest event of the year. The results at the TechEd expo were just the same. In their words ‘every single customer loved it and thought it was a really nice and useful gift.’ Rockwell have ordered the Acacia Cheese Boards three times in 2019 – it’s safe to say their clients cannot get enough of their custom branded corporate gifts.

CASE STUDY 09: Burson Automotive

and Drink Bottle

Locally source 1L pump bottles of high SPF sunscreen and drink bottles in time for summer. All branded with the Burson logo.


Burson Automotive views the safety of their people as a top priority even when it comes to small details like sun protection. Their order was a part of a company-wide health and safety sun smart initiative. It required the Impact team to find Australian-made products and supply them to every Burson store lunchroom in Australia. Local products were necessary so that they met Australian standards and got to each location in a timely manner.


The sunscreen and drink bottles proved to be a great help during the summer months. Staff had the necessary sun protection they needed while going about their work and were able to represent Burson while using their branded drink bottles. With custom sunscreen bottles, Burson branding was consistent in store, from front to back.

CASE STUDY 05: Tyremax

ALLENS Like Lollies
for TyreMax’s

Come up with a piece of merchandise that had high brand awareness that the resellers would love. Price must be under $2.

Our client had been giving away shortbread for their resellers and were now wanting something fresh. They offer corporate gifts to the store managers, but this product was predominately targeting the tyre fitters and salesmen. The goal was to have TyreMax brands recommended over their competitors. Brand recall was the sole purpose, with a little fun thrown in.


We know everyone loves lollies, and we wanted to go one step further and provide the client with a unique product. Rather than the clear cello-wrap lollies with a sticker or digital print on the bag, why not create their own “ALLEN’S LIKE LOLLIES”. We designed the lolly bag to be printed with the double layer film, complete with the hole punch hang tag. We selected an Australian manufacturer for their ‘snakes’ and ‘jellies’. The bag was branded TyreMax with corporate information, website and phone number. We also included the nutritional information on each bag. They could sit on any retail shelf. Feedback has been phenomenal and the client loves them. We have produced over 50,000 so far and counting.

Inspector Pup
for the Brisbane
Royal Show

Client: RSPCA


Create a piece of merchandise that can retail at the Brisbane Royal Show. The piece must be identifiable with RSPCA, however it cannot resemble anything that had been done previously or was currently sold in their online store. It needed to have a perceived value of RRP$25.00 to the consumer with a minimal buy price for RSPCA as a Not-For-Profit organisation.

We needed to design a product that would create interest and that ‘awwww’ factor, enough for consumers to spend $25 for a keepsake. We focused on the ‘inspector’ aspect and decided to create a soft toy dog complete with an inspector uniform. We selected the Alsatian breed as it represented security, monitoring and safety. Then came the fun part – dressing it up.


Impact designed and produced the RSPCA ‘INSPECTOR PUP’, complete with uniform and badges for less than $10.00. RSPCA sold the majority of the 2000 at the Ekka, with all profits going back into RSPCA Queensland.

CASE STUDY 02: Asics

Double Wine Carrier

Create a bespoke Christmas gift for key stakeholders for under $10.

ASICS were looking for ideas. They always give away a bottle of wine, but wanted to add a little branded ‘something’ to go with the wine. We were up for the challenge! In thinking of how we could make it unique for them, we wanted to up the ante with their gift of wine and make the gift functional and reusable  The one thing that is synonymous with their brand is their ‘cool dry’ fabric with the distinct pattern.


We hand drew a DOUBLE WINE CARRIER fashioned from their distinct running singlet. The carrier was constructed of neoprene with their ‘cool dry’ fabric as the outer. A production sample was produced and the client loved it. The finished product surprised and delighted their clients!
