How Does Impact's Warehousing Work?
Warehousing with Impact is a service that allows our clients to maintain a large stock of promotional products and distribute them as necessary across the country and beyond. If you’ve got limited space in the office, this is a service that will make your life easier. And it works hand in hand with our Brand Guardian™ webstore.
Here’s how warehousing with Impact works.
Set Up
There are boxes and boxes of outdated merch, products with your old brand on them all mixed in with the new merchandise. You need a better way to store this and keep it organised. The thought of finding, boxing up and shipping it out to your branches bit by bit makes your stomach hurt every time a request comes in. Luckily for you, Impact can warehouse your new or existing stock!
For new stock, the process begins like a normal merchandise order. You select and approve your promotional products as you usually would, but request warehousing. We then ship the products to one of our warehouses in Launceston, Melbourne, Sydney or New Zealand for storage.
When you need it, you simply contact one of our consultants and request the stock, either partially or the complete amount. We then send the products where they need to go, directly from the warehouse.
What costs are involved?
There are a couple of costs involved with Impact’s warehousing, beginning with an annual fee based on your annual spend.
- The annual fee is waived if you spend $50k or more on merch.
- If you spend between $20k and $49k, there is a $750 charge per annum.
- If you spend less than $20k there is a $1500 charge per annum.
We do charge a minimal pick, pack and handling fee when you request products from the warehouse. As well as freight to you, charged at cost.
Existing products (not ordered through Impact) incur a stocking fee when they arrive to our site. The amount depends on their quantity.
When are the warehoused products delivered?
Our warehouses dispatch your order on the same day if they’re ordered before 2pm. Same-day dispatch is not guaranteed if the order is received after that time.
What are the benefits of Impact's warehousing?
Warehousing your promotional products is useful if you’re tight on storage space. Some orders can be bulky and having access to them via a warehouse frees up your office space for more important things. You’ll find that warehousing is especially helpful if you follow a promotions or event calendar and stock products in bulk for the year ahead.
Other times you may have plenty of storage space, but the dusty or fast-paced warehouse environment is not the best solution for your team. Impact’s off-site storage works exceptionally well to prevent spoilage and also protects office staff against any WHS issues involved when entering warehouses.
Ready access to promotional merchandise and apparel within the office environment sometimes leads to items ‘walking away’. At those critical times when items are needed for an event, the stock on hand can be too low for your need. This creates a lot of stress, frustration and pressure on you.
